Other then obviously trying to make money what is the pitch meeting?
Is it just an alternate take on a Joker origin story.

Well, the previous movie is the origin story. From what I gather, this film cements his role as the psychotic clown, along with Harley Quinn's origin.

It’s a sequel to the 2019 film “Joker,” continuing this alternate version of the character. It’s not meant to tie in with any other series of Batman films. It’s the film equivalent of a one-off comic.

Yeah I know it’s a sequel but it’s obvious it’s not for me. Didn’t like the first one.

Don’t think this is a Joker origin story I wanted.
