Is the EVIL DEAD mono track available on any DVD? (1 Viewer)

I have the Elite version, it has a 5.1 mix, a 2.0 stereo mix, and 2 audio commentary tracks.

I am 94% sure that the out of print Anchor Bay version was mono.

Steven, here's the extra 6%...Yes, OOP Anchor Bay version is mono.

Thanks Herm. Don't think I'm doubting you, but I'm seeing on various online retail sites specs for this edition (the old Anchor Bay that came in the four picture disc versions) as having either a 5.1 track or a "stereo" track??!!

Does anybody have an open copy of this they can check? It seems a pity if the original soundtrack of this film is not available on any edition (Herm may well be correct, however!)

I found three reviews of the barebones Anchor Bay version and none say that the mono soundtrack is included.

So I don't think the mono soundtrack is on there. Doesn't even sound like it's a mono track spread across the front channels since the reviewers allude to directional effects.
