Is ESPN's Ultimate X Full Screen only? (1 Viewer)

Title says it all. I was excited to see this title at Sam's Club, only to put it back on the shelf immediately after reading that it was "modified from its original version".

Anyone know if the DVD is available in its OAR?

Well, to reply to my own post, I found this quote on the following website:

Touchstone's THX-certified DVD release of Ultimate X crops the 1.44:1 IMAX aspect ratio to 1.33:1 fullscreen at no obvious cost to composition.

Looks like only one release, slightly cropped. I'll probably give it a try. I never got to see it in the IMAX theater.

My only issue was that if you have a medium-to-small TV, then the IMAX effect just don't seem right.
