I've never used this particular brand of S-Video cables but all cables that worked for the N64 will work for the GameCube

I just picked this up today.

it works really really well...i just have one complaint. the thing smells like skunk

wtf is up with that? the whole room it's in stinks too because of it

Weird. I can't imagine what would cause that. Does it smell like that right out of the box or only after you use it??

as soon as i opened the thing up i had to wretch back in disgust.

a day later and it doesn't really smell anymore.

it's odd because i usually love the smell of new plastic

Same thing here (picked them up the same day even). I was wondering if a skunk had died in the car. But then it followed me into the house. I'm just glad it wasn't the BO from the Seinfeld episode.

Hope it goes away soon.
