So it looks like I can get the Tartan 2-disc from HKFlix for $38.90, which I understand has the same PQ as the TF1 French release. But I also noticed in my searching that Mei Ah did a 2-disc remaster but I can't find any info on it. The Mei Ah would be half the price at $19.55 from CDWow. Anyone have any info?

I'm very familiar with the Beav. I found a little more info on DVD Talk and it looks like the consensus is to get the Criterion if you're in North America. The remastered Mei Ah is better, but not the best. I did rent the Criterion version and the cropping kind of bugged me, but it may be the best (and most economical) option.
