I wanted to get some information on in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. Are there any speakers in this format that can deliver the sound that standard speakers can? Has anyone gone this route?

Check out JMlab speakers. They make some of the best stuff you can buy and their in-wall and in-ceiling stuff is very good. Here is a website, follow the link to the English version and then to Home Audio.

If you are looking at in-walls I highly recommend Triad. I have not heard jmlab speakers, but I own a set of the Triad Gold's and they are absolutley phenomenal. I feel that they are the best, but that is my biased opinion. Really you owe it to yourself to check them out. Go to there website (www.triadspeakers.com) and locate the rep in your area and give them a call. They will get you in touch with a dealer. you won't be dissapointed.
