OK, here's the deal (and yes, I searched before I asked): I want a new player, but I want the following features:
1) SACD at least. Would love DVD-A in along too, if possible.
2) Progressive scan and EXCELLENT picture quality. I am replacing an RP-56 so I don't want to go down in PQ.
3) Scaling. I'd like to run the video through my 3801 to my 65907. Thing is, it's going into my DTV connection, which on the 65907 allows for no TV-based formatting. So scaling is important on the player.
4) Sony's 10 second replay button!!
5) Around 200 bucks or less.
To me, the Sony DVP-755 seems to fill the bill except for the scaling. Compromises must be made, of course. I searched on this player and initially, it seemed to get mixed reviews. What's the impression of the player now?
Of course, I am open to your suggestions of players that will meet my needs.
Thanks All!
