htr-5760 down-conversion? (1 Viewer)

hey all,
Got a few questions about the htr5760. How is the upconversion(to s-video)? i heard the pioneer's is awful, does same go for htr? If i was to get the hrt-5760 i would want to run an s-video and component to my tv, but when i'm able to borrow a projector am i able to connect the s-video and run the dvd if it's connected via component to the reciever? Basically does it down convert? thanks

My wife bought me the HTR-5740 and it does not have the s-video. I bought an adapter for my projector. It has not come in yet so I don't know how well it works yet. Here is web site s-video.com
