I have a list of approx 1800 files in a folder, and I'd like to know if there's a way to simply print out the filenames (don't want to print out contents for this). Any ideas? I'm running XP. Thanks.

Try this:
Open a command prompt window (enter 'cmd' from Run...)
CD to the directory (folder that you want the list of files)
Enter: dir *.* /b > temp.fil (this does a directory command or list of all the files in that folder without all the statistics and puts the list in a file called temp.fil)
Print temp.fil (or whatever else you want to do with the list)
Hope that helps :)

It's funny how Microsoft has yet to put into Windows the equivalent of "DIR > LPT1:" from a DOS prompt.
