How high should wall-mounted rear surrounds be? (1 Viewer)

How high should wall-mounted rear surrounds be? Lets say the room is 7 feet wide and the speakers will be about 4 feet behind the viewer (all approximate)

In general they should be above the listener position at about 6'-7' from the floor.

Thats the way Dolby recommends them.

I personally like the rears mounted the same height as the fronts.

Largely, it depends on the movie. Some will sound better at all the same height, others with the higher mounting.
