I have a large area rug I'm not using and thought it may provide some absorption behind the TV on the front wall of my HT. Question is, what is the best way to hang it. Don't really want to put nails through the rug. Any ideas?

Well, you have a few options. One would be to wrap a small part of one end around a dowl rod and use thumb tacks.then run a picture wire from the rod to a nail or nails in the wall.
another option would be carpet or double sided tape..or self adhesive velcro strips.I think it is really going to depend on how heavy the rug is.If it is heavy I would go with the dowl rod.

Thanks Chad. Those all sound like good ideas. The rug is pretty heavy so I'll probably try the dial rod first.
