i'm still looking for a great home-cinema system (within by budget) that can also be good in hi-fi.

I'll say 80% movies, 20% stereo.

my short list at the moment is:

B&W: 603 s3; 601 s3, LCR600 or (4X 602; LCR60/LCR600)

Dynaudio: 4X 42; 42C or 62; 42; 42C

Kef: Q5; Q1; Q9C

Paradigm: Monitor 7; ADP-370; CC-370 or Monitor 9; ADP-370; CC-370

Equipment:
Sub Rel Q150
Sony 44PX2
Pioneer 757Ai
Rotel RCD-1070
Pioneer VSX-2011 (45tx) /Denon 3803 (4ohm/8ohm speaker will matter here)

Any thoughs??? Don't think i can get a demo on all systems (B&W and Kef are easy, others not - Live in Portugal)

The other question if i get ether the B&W or the Dynaudio (or anyother) is:

Should I get a pair of floorstanders for the fronts? Or should i get 4 equal standamounters?

Remenber that is 80% for movies or more! So what's really important is the performance in that department!

If you are really interested in HT, than I would go for the floorstanders. The added spls that most of them will bring will be welcome, I am sure.

Good luck

If you go floor standers, you may be missing out on being able to run 3 matched speakers accross the front...

Try both if you can!

Cheers,
Chris
