I hardly ever use my computer for dvd playing. It used to work now when I put in a disc my interactual player gives me the following warning:

I have lowered the resolution to no avail.

These programs both came on my computer. An hp pavillion. I did upgrade the graphics card a few months back to a geforce fx 5700le

Do I need a new dvd program or decoder? I can get the intervideo DVDXpack for $15. Is this what I need? Or should I get something else? I don't want anything fancy. Just play the dvd's and occasionally do a screen grab.

    Thanks!!

Rommel, Thanks. I actually downloaded the trial version of Powerdvd 6.0 and it works fine. I was able to find a legit OEM version for $9.99.
