I am curious to know if I can receive HD signals directly via satellite. I live in the Caribbean and am interested in purchasing a large screen RPTV as the price is coming down quite nicely. I would subcribe to satellite TV probably with a big dish offering C-Band, hence the question.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Kirk

Kirk,
You'd have to find a C-Band satellite company willing to sell to folks in the Carribean. Most of the ones I know of and worked for don't.

Good Luck

Thanks Shane. I take it that your response is yes that HD programming can be received with a dish. I have a US address so getting a satellite provider would not be a problem
