HBOs OZ on DVD... (1 Viewer)

Hey,
Does anyone know if other seasons of OZ have been confirmed in addition to season 1. I mean, it only makes sense, but you never know. And you know what they say about assuming.

I'd assume that it depends on how well the first season sells. If they only sell 20 copies, there's no hope for season 2. I think that it's pretty safe to assume that they'll finish what they start with Oz (and the Sopranos!).

I expect sales of OZ to be much lower than Sopranos. Sopranos has gotten such a boost in the media recently, as well as awards. Much bigger "word of mouth" even for those even w.o HBO.

That being said, if OZ season one even makes a small-but significant- profit, I expect HBO to continue releasing the following seasons.

Just the "vibe" I get about HBO's consumer and quality oriented approach.

Now, if OZ LOSES money then there may be a problem.

I can't wait for next tuesday. Outside of Sopranos Oz is the best damn show on hbo or regular tv for that matter!
