I own Halloween on dvd already and I am a pretty big fan. I've never gotten around to buying the Divimax edition because the DVD I have isn't that bad. Is the Divimax edition that much better than the original dvd release?

There's already a very long and interesting thread on this very topic.

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

    - Michael Corleone in "The Godfather, Part III"

Kinda seemed appropriate here, as well.

FYI , I double-dipped on this one when I saw that it was available at Best Buy for $16. Worth it for the commentary and docu for me; I've still got the old transfer (and TV version).
