I want to run all of my AV equipment through my 320, which apparently has good video switching. According to the manual, the Component out and the Monitor (S-video/Composite) out only deal with their respective inputs. It also mentions that composite and component connections can only be passed natively, although I don't know if that means S-video can pass all three or if they forgot to mention that it can't.

Anyway, component inputs are fine, but the LD player is dependent on comb filter technology. The 3-line filter in my TV is better than the LD's, so I use a composite cable to bypass the LD's filter. But do I have to worry about that in the 320, or does it merely copy the signal?
