German R2 DVDs - which sites for pre-orders? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know if Amazon.de has an English option on their website? I'm interested in pre-ordering the Premium Edition releases of Hero and House Of Flying Daggers, but I don't speak German (I can probably take myself through the ordering process with assistance from Babelfish, but I don't know if they ship to N. America).

Are there other sites that carry German R2 discs that will ship to the U.S.?

Ken,

Yes, they ship to the US (books, DVD's, VHS). To the best of my knowledge, you don't have to pay taxes then (VAT).

You could also use the equivalent US or English amazon pages to help you through the language: they're practically identical.

There's an English "help" section on their site.

€ 1.00 is at least $ 1.25 at the moment.


I have no experience with other German sites shipping to the US (Apparently, I have no experience at all with shipments to the US ).

According to the information given there, the premium edition of Hero will have a Chinese sound track, of House Of Flying Daggers that isn't clear.

They look like very interesting versions, BTW!

I am not familiar with the movie, but looks to me as if cd-wow put up the wrong cover, the movie poster maybe ??

I suggest you mail the customer service regarding what edition they are about to dispatch, I am sure the staff is able to clarify things.

The one pictured in the link is the regular edition and costs about 5 EUR less than the Premium Edition. Thanks for your help though.
