Just noticed that Xfinity Mobile now lets you bring your own iPhone (iPhone 5 and up, Verizon compatible). Previously, you had to purchase a phone through the service.

I checked into Xfinity mobile recently (we have Xfinity for home Internet, cable and phone), and many of the reports indicated issues with coverage in some more remote areas. Comcast is riding on Verizon's cellular network for their coverage, but apparently you are not guaranteed connecting to Verizon's network everywhere it is present.

I ended up getting cheaper coverage for unlimited service by switching from Verizon to Sprint and combining the phones for my wife and myself onto a single account.

Interesting, I figured if they used Verizon towers they would use all Verizon towers. Thanks for the heads up.
