okay.....looks like there was a glitch of some sort. anyhoo, this is what i tried to post:
Hey guys, I'm thinking about (well, I've pretty much already decided to) getting myself an XBOX for christmas. The games that i would love to buy are:

• Splinter Cell
• Halo
• Ghost Recon
• Shenmue II
• Morrowind
• maybe Timesplitters 2 (i might get that for PS2)
• maybe Mortal Kombat: DA (i might get that for PS2)
• probably some more..

But I have no idea what the future holds for games on XBOX. What games will be coming out for the box in the future?

Re Timesplitters 2, do you have the 4-way adaptor for the PS2? While all three versions of the game are pretty much identical, the multiplayer abilities of a console with 4 joypad ports are much better.

Halo 2 is an obvious choice ... Panzer Dragoon Orta looks sweet, but I wish I had the chance to get one of those special edition japanese PDO Xboxen. Speaking of japanese XBOX games ... (don't you just love that transition?) ... N.U.D.E. looks to be fricken awesome. Sudeki looks like another really cool game, but I'm not sure if either of those are going to be US or Japan releases. The same goes for True Fantasy Live Online. I have moderately high hopes for Topspin, but the screenshots I've seen so far make me wonder if the game will be anything more than mediocre.

Haha, yeah..those games will keep me busy for a good while. I didn't actually get all those games, just Halo, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon. Timesplitters 2 I will probably end up getting on XBOX, partly because I don't have that adaptor for the PS2. But yeah, I was just wondering what I should expect for the future.
Speaking of Perfect Dark 0, that's only on XBOX? Whatever happened to Rare's commitment to Nintendo? Though it does seem like I might remember reading something about that..

I'm with you, Dan. VF4Evolution has NOT been announced for the XBox, purely the PS2 at this stage. I'd seen rumours of it coming out for the XBox after the initial launch of VF4 for the PS2, but Sega recently announced VF4:Evo for the PS2 - purely for the ps2 at this stage.

And personally, I can't stand "cut & pasted" lists - tell us what you're personally interested in, not some random site.
