Fear of Fear - disc defect (1 Viewer)

Has anybody else noticed a 'stall and sputter' defect 17 minutes into Wellspring's Fear of Fear DVD? I'm wondering whether to return this to the retailer or contact the manufacturer.

Sounds like a bad disc. Did you clean it?

I rented it and it played fine.

Yes, I tried cleaning it. Thanks alot for the response. I guess I'll try cleaning it again, and if that doesn't work just get a replacement from the retailer.

My copy played fine. Excellent film too, Fassbinder at his most Sirkian.
