I apologize in advance for this off-topic post, but was there ever a Jumping Flash 3 in any region?

Ummm... Ultima Underworld was released in 1991 and was 3D. I do not understand your Mario 64 3D definition. I am quite sure there were many PC 3D games published prior to 1996. I did not see the timeline in question in the online version of the story so if I am out of bounds here, sorry. I just get frustrated when people/media/whoever attributes some innovation or breakthrough based solely on popular opinion or agenda.

Tis possible they are refering to burning a cd as "burning" a music cd to the xobx hard drive. I know I do it.

As for the list, I cannot really fault it much other than I personally would have Mechassault in there as well as Metroid Prime. Remove Spidey and the two towers.

OOOOhhhh...thank you for reminding me of Jumping Flash. I forgot about that one. That was more like a first person shooter though.

And I thought nights was after Mario. Didnt know it was out in Japan before hand.

I am not saying Tomb Raider was not instrumental to 3d, but they gave it almost sole credit, which pissed me off.

For the burning thing, in the same sentence they say it also rips CDs, which is the hard drive thing.

I know Sony does the best marketing, that is why it gets the most attention. but when the press is supposed to be unbiased, I dont find it pleasing when one thing is talked about to no end when other innovators are ignored.
