I recently purchased a NVIDIA fx5200 card. I am trying to run my projector through the DVI output, and the monitor through the VGA output. I have the setting to "clone" in the NVIDIA control settings, with one display the monitor and the other the projector, but still nothing is displayed on the projector. Does anyone know how to get the DVI output going?

That's weird, I have a fx5200 card in my old pc and don't remember it having a dvi out at all just 2 vga. Try the dual view mode and see if you get anything up on the projector. I would think that it would be the clone option. You could also try the SVideo output instead. I had that pc hooked up to a 27" sony trinitron tv that way and it worked for me.

Hi, Have you enabled the Dual display in nView Desktop managment??

once you enable then select nView desktop manager wizard to setup dual screen just follow the directions.

there was another option in that menu but I no longer use the Dual view but I think it was a manual setup I used the 3rd option to setup cause the other selected the wrong display settings!!

I went to the FAQ on NVIDIAs site pertaining to adding a seconday clone tv, and I have done all of these things, but still get no picture on my projector (DVI, secondary output). I did notice, that in the FAQ, the two monitors in the clone setting are labled 1 and 2, while mine are labled 1a and 1b. Does this mean I am missing something in a previous setup?

Also, the projector is connected properly, the graphics card detects it, and during bootup, I get images on it, but after windows starts, it goes blank.
