I have a question or two concerning the new DTS 96/24 format. From what I understand this format gives full 96khz, 24-bit resolution. So does that mean the quality is the same as DVD-Audio when playing in 5.1? and is DTS going to limit this format to their music discs, or are there any plans on releasing movies in DTS 96/24? I would love to be able to listen to movies in dvd-audio caliber quality. Or would that be a pipe dream?

It is my understanding that DTS audio is already dead, no new DTS CDs will be released, it has more or less become DVD-A. I read something on this board regarding an upcoming new format that will utilize DVD-A high bitrates with movies, but that's all I know.
