I just finished my free X1 demo (great program - I highly recommend it!), and I'm beginning to see that switching between 4:3 and 16:9 may not be a simple matter of putting some masking on the edges of my DIY 16:9 screen.
Considering how inexpensively I can build a screen from blackout material, should I consider building two separate screens and then switch back and forth as needed? I plan to (probably) use some type of hook and chain system for hanging the screen anyway since there will be times when I want to remove it. (I'm going with velvet curtains behind the screen to create a false wall - I can't go back to the real wall due to an angled fireplace.)
Has anyone else tried this?
Thanks!
