DLP or LCD? (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

Its been a while since I last posted here, but it never to late huh. Anyway, I have a dilemma. I would like to purchase an entry level HD projector and I don't know what to go with. I have narrowed down my choices to the Optima HD70 (which has a native res of 1280x720 with a DLP chip.) or the Sanyo PLz-4 Same res but with a 3 LCD panel setup. The Optima has a much more attractive price at only $999 The Plz is a bit more expensive at 1499. Both listed at projector people.com. So how bout it? Does the Sanyo have better picture quality or does the Optima. Keep price in mind as well. What would you go with? What is generally better DLP or LCD?

You have to decide yourself by viewing both types in person. What we like means nothing.
