Digital product placement on old TV DVDs (1 Viewer)

I just heard on the Howard Stern Show that Warner Bros. announced that they will start using digital product placement on "old" television show DVDs. Can anyone confirm this?

I read that they would be doing this for syndicated/third-run packages, but the news item didn't say anything about DVDs.

Well that still blows. I hope you're right about it not affecting DVDs.
