digital cable box set up questions (1 Viewer)

My digital cable box has an s-video out.. I know it may seem obvious, but if I use it will I see an improvement in the video quality on my Sony WEGA?
Also, the cable box has an coax digital cable out which i want to use, but unfortunatly my Technics SA-DX930 only has one digital out coax that my DVD player takes...so does any know where i can find a 2-female to 1-male Y-cable for digital coax?

Yes, definitely. I highly recommend using S-Video, especially with a high-quality set.
