Does anyone know the difference, if any, between the Infocus LP340-V and LP340-B DLP projectors? I've seen reviews for both models in different sites, but was not able to distinguish between them. Are they the same model, except for different markets?

NO. They are very much different. Go over to AVS and look search for "abigpicture". I believe you want the V...as teh B version uses different/crappy scalar

For those of you interested in this topic, here's the reply I received fröm Infocus technical support:
"LP340V has both Digital (DVI) and Analog Computer ability via M1 DA connector. It also has an upgraded video processor.
LP340B has only Analog computer capability via standard 15 PIN VESA (VGA) connector. I basic video processor was also used. Both changes to LP340B were implemented solely to lower the price of the product. If video is a priority, the LP340V will look better. If computer applications are the main use model, with video as an alternative, the LP340B is a great option.
