So, where is it? 5 Years, very popular show, best hairdo of the decade. I know, Anchor Bay put out 9 episodes. Big Deal. Why isn't there any talk of season sets?

Well, take Friends, deduct all but Courtney Cox, add humor and jokes and you have That Girl. Oh, minus Courtney's boob job.

This was a very popular show in its day. Some even consider it one of the creative inspirations for the Mary Tyler Moore Show, since Anne Marie was independent and had a career apart from her fiance. Maybe if Marlo Thomas has any influence in this project...

Gord, are you confused by the very confusing subject of this thread? You added the show and the DVD listing to the site! [IMG]

The title of the post refers to the first part of the lame theme song lyrics that were added in the last season of the show. An inside joke.

Yeah, I caught that, but I knew most others wouldn't (and Gord apparently didn't either! [IMG] )

And in 30 years, when there's a new sitcom starlet causing a pop culture sensation with her hairstyle, let's have Jennifer Aniston play her mom.

Marlo Thomas herself owns the show (her production company, Daisy Productions, made the show from '66-71), so she'd be the one with all the answers.

Gotta go fly my That Girl kite:

If you find a girl to love, only one girl to love, then she'll be That Girl, too! THAT GIRL!
