No, they're not taking their sweet time with Designing Women. It's coming out at a comfortable pace. I'm very grateful for this; I just wish Shout! Factory would have this same good release schedule with all their tv releases; and that they wouldn't orphan so many good shows...

I believe it was announced months ago that seasons 3&4 were coming out. Perhaps they're just now getting around to the official release information.

I'm definitely hoping to at least get the first 5 seasons. I would be very hesitant to get the sub-standard 6th & 7th seasons. Although the 6th season is better than you might think. It proves that you can't lose half your cast all at once and ever truly recover from it.

I'm now questioning whether to get the rest of the seasons at all or simply wait for a possible complete series set. Perhaps the first 5 will come out and the 6th & 7th will be included in the complete set. I'm just not sure they would sell very well considering their reputation. I'd hate for low sales of them to halt a complete set. Although a lot of fans would be angry if they could not get them all separately.

I'm still very worried about music rights issues for this series, though. Music was a huge part of many of the eps. I'd hate for anything to be missing.

I love this... they're really starting to get into my favorite seasons of the show now! Can't wait to get it.
