Just recently acquired an old Denon AVR-800 5.1 surround receiver from work for free. However, being free, it is lacking any sort of manual.

Anyway - On to the point. I get it home, hook up my 5 speakers, and go to plug the sub in - but then realize there is nowhere to plug the sub in to...

How do I go about hooking my sub up to this thing? Any suggestions?

If you need a pic of the back of the receiver, I can do that.

Thanks.

If you have no way to hook sub up, just set your speakers to Large, and don't worry about it. Lots of people don't have subs. With speakers set to Large, the bass will go to the speakers you have, unless your speakers are the tiny speakers like come in HTIB's. :)

If your receiver has a first or second set of front r/l preouts, connect one or both to your sub. Subwoofer output is rather un-directional so this connection should work fine and possibly even better the the .1 channel thats missing. I'm assuming your sub is self powered.
