Denon AVR-3805 connecting to HD receiver (1 Viewer)

Guys,
I just read this quote regarding the Denon up-convert feature from another forum. Does anyone else agree with it?

"The receiver "upconverts" composite and S-video signals to Component, but does not upscale the resolution. The way the receiver companies word it you would think they do though."

Anyone have any other suggestions? I still would like to know if anyone else with a Denon box has the option for scaling? If so how do you change it?

Thanks, and let me know if anyone has other suggestions or if you know what resolution is coming out of the "up converted" Denon component out.
