The BB screen is simply clear, and I have not seen the equiv. TV with the other screen so I don't know how big of a deal the screen is.
The VSM appears to be the VMLE option (#31) in the service menu, 0 = off, 1 = low, 2 = med, 3 = high
There are MANY other options in the service menu, but I am nowhere close to being comfortable in changing any of the values, until I get my hands on a service menu. There are ALOT of color settings per primary color...
