The 1965 Cold War thriller "The Bedford Incident" is an underrated classic and deserves to be on DVD. The film is made in a straightforward and yet brilliant manner and the acting honors are distributed among almost all the cast. How about it Columbia?

I wouldn't mind seeing this on DVD - I just saw it on TCM a few weeks ago. What a great (and disturbing) ending. However, a commentary with Poitier and Widmark would be a must!

I too love this dark film. If & when Columbia sees the light, it must be widescreen! A commentary would be very welcomed too! I bitterly remember during the zenith of the LD when it was announced that Columbia would release a widescreen LD of this film. Unfortunately it NEVER came to pass to my great & bitter disappointment.
