I have noticed on half.com that there are some DVD titles that are listed as "checkpoint". What does this mean?

Checkpoint is the name of the company that provides anti-theft security stickers for some DVD's. The sensors are the flat label-type using RF technology.

Another company, Sensormatic, provides the most common type of security using those rectangular plastic "bumps" found inside most DVD cases. This system utilizes a magnetic metal detecting process.

Retailers are usually able to order their product according to their specific security needs.
