Looks stunning on HD DVD and is pretty good. Brando's Christian is IMO serviceable but Bogarde's Bligh is great (again IMO). I know Laughton's Bligh is "the model", and I enjoy it, but Bogarde makes it his own.

Yes, a typo there. I think you may be thinking of "Damn The Defiant". The '62 Mutiny is the kind of big movie that doesn't get made these days (I don't think anyone could afford it). Brando is brilliant. The DVD looks stunning, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the BD. On the HD DVD did Warner correct the wrong looking aspect ratio on the prologue & epilogue?
