I've been trying to install the oval dish now for 3 days and I can't pick up the satellite at 119 deg. I get the one at 101 deg. at 90+. My question is where is it from the 101 satellite? Do I adjust right? left? up? down? tilt?
Thanks

Well, fellow Spokaner, I think that I might be able to help you. I did my own oval DirecTV install, and it was all pretty easy (the hardest part was assembling the dish and running four cables in). However, I would say the key to an easy install would be:
1) Make sure your mast is perfectly plumb (very critical with an oval dish).
2) Make sure you have a clear line of sight in all directions.
3) Assemble the dish dialed in to the proper settings for your area.
When I did my install, I used RCA's website (even though my dish and receiver are Sony) to get my pointing info. Here is the link:

For Spokane, the settings are:
Elevation: 34.8
Azimuth: 152.1
Tilt 96.7
Also, I got A LOT of help over at http://www.dbsforums.com
Anyway, that is what worked for me. If you continue to have trouble, feel free to e-mail me . I hope that helps.
