    I hate when this happens!

I heard this song on the radio, I know it’s from the early 80”s and it keeps playing in my head and I can’t figure out who it is and it’s driving me nuts!

Male singer kind of sounds a little bit like Supertramp’s vocalist

The lyrics start off something like “ I heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard you been messing around”

Then something ing about “ you better take on the run baby “

Anyone have a clue who this is?

    Thanks

Ah yes, REO Speedwagon, a chick band if I ever heard one. All you had to do was put on a little REO(or Journey or Air Supply)and let the good times roll! [IMG]

All the songs mentioned above are on "The Hits".

"Don't Let Him Go" was way cool too.

Ah yes, REO Speedwagon's "Hi Infidelity". A prime example of something that's rare these days - an album where every song is GREAT. Buy it, you'll love it.[IMG]

Foreigner's "4"....right up there with "Hi Infidelity", IMHO.

Play "Waiting For A Girl Like You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling" back to back for instant "good time". [IMG] [IMG]

In my opinion, this was their best radio hit! You can't help but sing along.

Good lord. This reminds me that a woman I met at law school fessed up that she had a brief torrid affair with the band's plump keyboard player. Not what I'd brag about myself.

Cute songs, but I can't imagine ever putting one on and actually listening to it, much less buying a CD.
