Cambridge Audio 540D (1 Viewer)

I am looking for a DVD player with a good transport I am not interested in the progressive scan portion as I use a CRT projector and scaler has anyone seen this player do you know what transport it has any help is appreciated. Is it in the same price range and quality as the Elite player by Pioneer

Which Elite player? The Elite 59 is near a grand. I know it doesn't cost that much.

I'll tell you: Cambridge is a brand I think highly enough of that, if I were in the market, especially for an audio related product, I'd buy from them virtually sight unseen.

I hear nothing but good things about this player, just like most of the rest of their products. I think you'd probably be very happy if you tried out the 540D.
