Best Widescreen HDTV under 2000 bucks? (1 Viewer)

My family is looking to purchase a widescreen HDTV for under 2000 bucks. Were looking for around 55 inches. What is the best TV we can get for our money. Also, what kind of cables do you recommend for hookup to DVD player etc.?

Hello Rich,
I have a Panasonic PT-53WXD63. It is a 53" widescreen HDTV with buit in HD tuner. It has a lot of features and is also cable card ready. The picture is wonderful. I got mine at CC. I got it for under $1800, then got a price match when they droped the price. So after all was said and done I have $1665 + tax in it now. I think this set just my be what your looking for. We love ours.

I got a JVC AV-65WP74 65" RPTV for under $2000 out the door.

Couldn't be happier.
