Hi, me again.
I was looking for a good set of speakers (on a budget).
So far:
Paradigm 4 minis cc 370
HTD level III (two towers)
Axiom M50 and VP100 and rears
Divas 2.1 from Swan(oh nevermind:frowning:)
Need your help so bad.
seems like axiom is best bang for the money.
I've got to make a decision. :frowning:
Thanks.

I've not listened to any of these except for the VP100. I did listen to Paradigm Studio 40 and NHT 2.5 before buying the Axiom M60Ti. (and a whole string of other speakers.. just none of the ones you've listed)
Since a fair amount of time passed between the separate auditions, it would be unfair to make any comparison. Suffice it to say that I am very pleased with the depth and accuracy of the Axioms at this pricepoint.
But since these are my ears and not yours, YMMV. ;)
I don't understand the frowny face on the Divas. I looked hard at them until the WAF nixed them (she didn't like the rosewood finish).
What do you plan to drive them with? How big is your HT room? Do you plan to get a sub? I'm convinced that a quality sub is money well spent, regardless of your mains.

I plan to use them with yamaha 5240 i think it's 65wpc.

Room is about 20x20, but there's a wall thru have of it so i'd say it is 20x12.

I already got a sub(I wouldn't call it a 'quality' sub).

Swans are too expensive for me. Actually I liked the price, but shipping to heavy for me.

I'd definitely go with the Axiom setup you're considering. That's the exact same system I have if you add M3Ti's for rears.

Extremely good setup; wow'ed everyone I've showed.

Hey Alex

I have the Axiom M80, VP150 & QS8 and have heard the other Axiom speakers. Let me tell you they are excellent for accuracy and imaging. I chose them over the Paradigm Monitor 9 (and the recommended centre and rears).

Much more defined and accurate.

Best of Luck!

If you can afford a little extra, get the VP150. I have one, and it does not disappoint!
