Aspect ratio for Disney's COUNTRY? (1 Viewer)

I want this but am worried about it - with a ten buck retail, I imagine it's just the pan and scan laser transfer ported over to DVD. Can anyone confirm?

You know, I happened to pick up and examine the DVD of "Country" at Best Buy yesterday... Mostly because I like to hold pictures of Jessica Lange (still looks hot in "Big Fish"!)... And the back of the box stated the aspect ratio was 1.85:1... So, good news?
