I'd like to see some of these shows on DVD.

To be honest, I barely remember it. I haven't seen it since it's original run in 71-73. All I remember is Charles Nelson Reilly flying around in a huge top hat.

I remember it. It was my favorite show during its original run...I was 5 or 6. I suspect if I saw it again I might not hold it in quite so high an esteem this time. :)

I'm kind of embarrased to say I liked this when I was a kid. Not nearly as much as Land of the Lost (are we EVER going to see this in a box set, by the way???) Everybody remembers Charles Nelson-Reilly in the flying hat, but who remembers that the good-guy was a teenage Eddie Munster (Butch Patrick, who's still embarassed about this show) and that the weird genie was best known as Witchiepoo from Pufnstuff fame?

Anyway, if you really want to see it, check out the Rhino DVD from a couple years ago called "The World Of Sid And Marty Krofft". It's got a single Lidsville episode in it. It's remarkable how these shows look when you see them for the first time as an adult.....
