Anyone ever get the feeling some members are posting drunk? (1 Viewer)

Granted I know that spelling and grammar in this fine United States is not at all what it used to be- it seems once every couple days I come across a post that seems to have been created by an intoxicated person...

Some prime clues:

Rambling, and borderline incoherent posts and thread titles.

Spelling that is so bad you have trouble even making out the words from context.

Subject changes 3 or 4 times in a single sentence.

Punctuation comes in the midd.le of word.s

Putting odd "speaking" elements into the post (like "weeeeee").

Posts that ask huge questions that are vague, and the original poster never bothers to follow up after their initial post (it's like they forgot all about it ever posting it in the first place).

Anyone ever read posts and think "this guy is totally drunk?"

I'd support a sobriety test that everyone has to take every time they want to post something here. Granted, it would be extremely complicated to implement such a system, but it would save a lot of confusion. :D

I always assumed everyone was drunk when posting, at least in the AHL.

And one time, I'm pretty sure the poster was nekkid.

Hmmm...there is a fine line between drunk and stupid. Hey! I am standing on it right now! ("weeeee")

Oops...I fell off on to the stupid side again.

Reading posts from drunks is not nearly as entertaining as playing against them on XBL while they are drunk. Real time voice chat does have it's small graces.

[drunk girl voice] djuuu wanna play a game of Halo?[/drunk girl voice]

I always seem to write almost stream of consciousness, but I guess it could be construed as drunk. Completely sober I'm afraid, but years of writing emails and going to a technical school has killed my grammar/composition skills.

Perhaps there should be an addition to the information below each user's name. Directly under "Member Since:" we could have...

When I start relieving myself in the feedback section, then and ONLY then can you call me drunk. ;)

You're a hooker? Jesus, I forgot! I just thought I was doing GREAT with you!

I'm not too concerned with those who post drunk, i'm more worried about those who post wasted on crack! :)

You can always tell because they advocate fullscreen and P&S. :D
