Any hope for the new Satriani on SACD? BTW was Engines of Creation released on SACD at the same time as the CD came out?

It is due out sometime this year in multi-channel/stereo. I am looking forward to this disc.

Miles, I'm relatiely sure the SACD didn't come out when the CD did, later. I got the SACD last summer or fall. I don't think it's even an early Sony release. It's a shame the new one isn't being released as a hybrid CD/SACD first time around. Best wishes!

Engines of Creation was a Sony product, so unless Satch changed record companies, any future SACD will not be a hybrid.

Satriani in multi-channel would be sweet. Is EOC multichannel too? Damn, I HAVE to buy a SACD player... :frowning::frowning::frowning:
