I was wondering because the videotape i used to have had to be disposed of,becuae i watched it so much when i was younger,it got to be unwatchable..Still pretty neat dragon effects,especially considering the age of the film.A special edition would be sweet..and i would finally be able to see this movie for the first time,in widescreen (hopefully) intstead of the pan and scam version..Just saw the neverending story in its OAR for the first time about a month ago on DVD.Makes me wondr how much was missed in dragonslayer..heres hoping.
