Whats up with all the repeats for the last two weeks? I already saw those shows! I want to see my new episodes of The Practice, and Andromeda, and Enterprise, and Angel, and so on, and so forth?

It's MADNESS, I tell you, UTTER MADNESS!

It's always like this during the holidays.

The networks try to maximize viewership by showing their new shows while there's no "distractions" for the viewership, like holidays.

Figure the standard order is now 22 episodes per season.

    Subtract 4 for November sweeps

    Subtract 4 for February sweeps

    Subtract 4 for May Sweeps

Figure they may want to show 4 in October to start the season.

You now have six episodes left to spread among December, January, March, and April.

Stinks, but what can you do?

What can you do? - Put a DVD on. [IMG]
Actually, the reruns give you a chance to kick yourself in the arse after you watch another show for the first time and discover that it is better than what you have been watching.
Another choice is to get a VCR (preferably in September) and set it up for a weekly tape of another series (or even two). Rerun season gives you the chance to play them back and discover that it is bett - - oh, I already said that.
    Bye!!

Dudes, they day they offer Tivo service in Canada is the day I'll be dancing all the way to Future Shop.

Thanks for the hints; I hadn't thought of it in terms of sweeps weeks.
