While the AP stuff always has/will sound great, I'd hate to purchase yet another copy of John Coltrane - Blue Train, Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue and Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else. Between redbook CD, MoFi, SACD and the DAD discs, I own too many copies as it is!

Yikes, I knew there was a thread on this but for some reason couldn't find it for the life of me! Oh well...

Anyway, my bad Lee...I only own one copy of Kenny Burrell's "Midnight Blue." I think it's the RVG remaster. As wonderful as they are and as great as they sound, it's the other 2 discs I mentioned ("Blue Train" & "Somethin' Else") that I don't need any more copies of!

That being said, I got my newest Acoustic Sounds catalog and these new Blue Notes SACDs have gotten me intrigued. I am specifically thinking about "Midnight Blue" as it's one of my favorites. Have you head any of these SACDs yet and if so, how is the sound quality (superb I'm sure, but I have to ask)?

Ron,

No problem. The new Blue Notes are not out yet...I think September or so they are due. Steve Hoffman is doing the mastering so they should be terrific.

Lee
