Ok my HTiB AVR does not have a subwoofer line out... Im going to be hooking up my new sub using the line level inputs most likely. However i was wondering if i connected the L/R line out from the AVR to the L/R low level inputs on the sub, and used the crossover on the sub, would this work, or would i be better off just using the high level input? TIA!

WEll the sub just came via UPS so i guess ill try it out using the line out on my AVR. Cant hurt anwyay. Im not sure if it will work though because in the manual that came with the sub it says

"Do not use the tape monitor output from your reciever or preamplifier because its signal level will not vary with the setting of the preamp volume control"

Im not sure if the line out jacks on my AVR are for tape recording or not. Oh well ill give it a try, if it doesnt work ill just use the speaker level inputs.
